Village School Celebrates Unity Day

Village School comes together in big ways, especially on Unity Day! Village PTA invited Amy McCoy, the author of the "Little Big Sister" series, to come talk about her experiences as an author and a parent of a child with a disability to all of the students. She shared her journey as an author and the inspiration behind her books, and the importance of embracing each others' differences. Afterwards, our students joined together in the gym for our annual No Place for Hate assembly with a little refresher on how any act of kindness can make a real difference!
